New York and Washington DC twin centre holiday

SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 - UK to New York

Fly from London to New York, arriving later that day - departures from other UK airports are also available, of course. On arrival in to New York make your way to your chosen hotel, for a three night stay - our city stopovers are completely flexible, so if you’d like a day or two more or less just let us know!

Days 2-3 - New York

Spend a few days discovering vibrant New York. Manhattan itself is made up of numerous neighbourhoods each with its own feel & vibe - try East Village for a slice of quintessential New York; SoHo for designer shopping & cafe-hopping; and the Upper East Side for museums & ladies who lunch.

Day 4 - New York to Washington DC

Make your way to New York’s Penn Station for the Amtrak train service to Washington DC. On arrival at Washington’s Union Station make your way to your chosen hotel, for a three night stay - our holidays are very flexible so your durations can be tailored to suit your exact requirements!

Days 5-6 - Washington DC

Today start your sightseeing of Washington DC, the nation’s capital - there’s so much to see here that a few days may not be enough! Plan your time carefully as the city was built on a big scale - the hop-on hop-off sightseeing buses are a great way to save your legs. We highly recommend pre-booking a tour of the Capitol Building, and our other favourite sights include the iconic Lincoln Memorial, the National Archives and of course the White House.

Day 7 - Return

Make your way to Washington airport for your return flight to the UK, arriving the next day.
