SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 - UK to Hanoi

Fly from Heathrow to Hanoi, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.

Day 2 - Hanoi

On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our stopovers in Hanoi are extremely flexible so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!

Days 3-4 - Hanoi

Spend the next few days exploring fascinating Hanoi. We’d suggest visiting historic sights such as the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, both easy to get to and well worth doing so.

Day 5 - Hanoi to Halong Bay

Today you’ll be collected from your hotel in Hanoi for the drive of around three hours to Halong Bay. You’ll board your boat around lunchtime and set sail soon after to explore the beauty of Halong Bay. Cruise itineraries differ a little between boats, but a typical first day will include activities both on the water such as kayaking, swimming or squid fishing, and on dry land such as exploring islands and caves.

Day 6 - Halong Bay to Hoi An

If you’re up in good time you may be able to catch a spectacular sun rise over Halong Bay ,before breakfast, As you head back to the marina, typical second day activities may include onboard activities such as tai chi, or exploring more of the beautiful islands, beaches and caves. Later, disembark from your cruise boat around 11 am, and your transfer will take you to Hanoi airport airport for your onward flight to Danang. You’ll be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An, for a seven night stay. This part of Vietnam has some great hotel options, so if you’d like a recommendation to suit your requirements just ask!

Days 7-12 - Hoi An

Spend the rest of your stay in Hoi An relaxing on the beach, exploring the historic Old Town area (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and soaking up the atmosphere. Be sure to explore Hoi An’s long history, best seen in its beautiful buildings.

Day 13 - Hoi An to Saigon

You’ll be collected at your hotel for your return transfer to Danang airport, for your onward flight to Saigon. On arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your next hotel for a three night stay. Our holidays to Vietnam are extremely flexible so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!

Days 14-15 - Saigon

Spend the next few days exploring fascinating Saigon. Perhaps take a half day trip out of the city to see the extraordinary Cu Chi Tunnels, a real eye-opener in to the extraordinary spirit of the Vietnamese people.

Day 16 - Saigon to Phnom Penh

Return transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Phnom Penh. You’ll be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your next hotel, for a three night stay. We’ve included some suggested hotel options, but if you’d like alternative hotels just let us know!

Days 17-18 - Phnom Penh

You now have the next few days exploring the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh. The Tuol Sleng Museum is a moving - often grisly - reminder of the atrocities that happened in Cambodia in recent memory, under the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

Day 19 - Phnom Penh to Siem Reap

Return transfer to the airport form your onward flight to Siem Reap. You’ll be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your next hotel, for a three night stay. Our holidays are very flexible - we’d suggest a three night stay here, but any duration is possible.

Days 20-21 - Siem Reap

Temple time! Over the next few days explore the incredible Temples of Angkor, with many of the key sites being easy to explore. Favourites of ours include the Bayon and Ta Phrom, but allow yourself time to take it all in - without getting templed-out!

Day 22 - Siem Reap to UK

You’ll be collected at your hotel for your return transfer to the airport, for your flight back to the UK.
