What to do in Langkawi
In the south west corner, the resorts of Pantai Tengah and Pantai Cenang are Langkawi's main resorts, with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants - but still a laid back atmosphere. Elsewhere on the island, the town of Kuah offers Langkawi's main facilities, whereas other areas are more peaceful and less developed. Overall, Langkawi is superb option for a chilled-out beach holiday to Malaysia.

There's an excellent range of hotels available, plus the Island's Duty Free status makes is great value for money! Many hotels are around the south west of the island, plus there are some superb luxury hotels on Langkawi, located generally along the more remote north of the Island.
