Set 1,500 metres above sea level in a forested mountainscape, Cameron Highlands Resort is built as a long extension from an existing 1930’s cottage with architecture dating from the 1070’s. Promising splendour, romance and nostalgia, the interiors hark back to its grand colonial heritage.

Bathed in sunlight, the white walls of each guestroom at Cameron Highlands, located in the colonial building, are elegantly contrasted with dark wood furnishings. Fitted with polished wooden floors, rooms come with a flat-screen satellite TV and comfortable day bed. An electric kettle and personal safe are included.

The award-winning wellness centre features healing therapies based on produce from the surrounding jungles and ancient tea rituals combined with knowledge drawn from the Orang Asli or 'original people' who have a deep understanding of plants, herbs and flowers that have the power to heal.

Gourmet dishes can be enjoyed at The Dining Room for breakfast and dinner, accompanied by sweeping views of the golf course and surrounding hills, while The Jim Thompson Tea Room serves offers à la carte lunch menu, traditional English tea and locally-produced fine tea. Gonbei Restaurant serves dinner options ranging from seafood, prime meats and also noodles.
