SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1 - UK to Beijing
Fly from Heathrow to Beijing, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.
Day 2 - Beijing
On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our stopovers in Beijing are extremely flexible so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!
Days 3-4 - Beijing
Spend the next few days exploring this incredible city. The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Temple of Heaven can be seen in one day, but we’d suggest having a guide to help you explore - getting around can be tricky if you don’t speak the language!
Day 5 - Beijing to Xi’an
Transfer back to Beijing airport for your flight to Xi’an. When you arrive you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel, for a three night stay - other durations are also available, of course.
Days 6-7 - Xi’an
Spend the next few days exploring historic Xi’an. The fascinating Muslim Quarter is easy to explore on foot, and you’ll find some of Xi’ans best local food here - the smells are incredible!
Day 8 - Xi’an to Shanghai
Transfer back to Xi’an airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our stopovers in Shanghai are extremely flexible so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!
Days 9-10 - Shanghai
Spend the next few days exploring the economic powerhouse of Asia. Take in the incredible mix of old and new China from The Bund, where views of the old classical buildings from the last century are overshadowed with the skyscrapers of the new city, Pudong. Allow time to take the lift to the viewing platform in the Jing Mao Tower - not the tallest building in the city, but one of the best views in China.
Day 11 - Shanghai to Hua Hin
Transfer back to Shanghai airport for your flight to Bangkok, and take the road transfer to Hua Hin. On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your chosen hotel, for a seven night stay. A wide range of hotels is available and durations are flexible, so you can stay for as long as you wish.
Days 12-17 - Hua Hin
Spend the rest of your week in Hua Hin exploring the town and surrounding countryside, taking in the wonderful night market and sampling some of the wonderful seafood the town offers.
Day 18 - Hua Hin to UK
Return road transfer to Bangkok airport for your return flight to the UK.
