Tortilis Camp, Amboseli

Tortilis Camp is named after the tortilis acacia tree and is a charming rustic tented camp built into the side of a hill, facing the foothills of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. The friendly staff, drawn from the local Masai community, are dedicated to offering a truly memorable stay.

Situated on the edge of Amboseli National Game Reserve, on the southern border of Kenya, renowned for having the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

16 spacious tents with king or twin beds, each with an en elegant en suite bathroom with shower, and a large verandah (2 adults and 1 child). There is also a family tent with a large verandah, which has 1 double en suite bedroom and 1 twin en suite bedroom, both of which can fit one extra bed for children under the age of 16 years.

Offers a spacious dining room, bush breakfasts, hilltop sundowners and delicious recipes taken from the family cookbook and served with fresh salads and herbs grown in the camp. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, game drives, bush walks and massages.
