364 rooms and suites. Premium rooms are contemporary and elegant, set within the Opera wing. Luxury rooms are housed in the historic grandeur of the Metropole wing, with airconditioning, television, telephone, minibar, tea- and coffee-making facilities, bath and separate shower.

Grand luxury rooms are large with a separate bath and shower. Prestige suites are available on request.

Facilities at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi

Kids will love the indoor and outdoor children's playground, and there are two outdoor swimming pools - one heated. Visit the luxurious three-level spa and unwind in the hammam, sauna and Jacuzzi, or work-out in the fitness centre. The hotel's six restaurants and bars include French eatery Le Beaulieu, which is more than 100 years old and famous for its extravagant brunch. There's also a wine cellar.

For a unique insight into life during the Vietnam war witness the bomb shelter, only discovered in 2011, located in the hotel's gardens. The bunker was used to protect guests, which included Jane Fonda and Joan Baez, from war-time air raids. Exhibits located in the shelter highlight the hotel's illustrious history which spans over 100 years. Complimentary tours are offered to guests of the hotel (reservations are required).
