A superb option for a shorter duration, cruising from Luxor to Aswan in four nights and taking in classic sites such as the temples of Karnak and Luxor, the West Bank at Luxor, the Temple of Kom Ombo and Philae Temple.

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1 UK to Luxor
Fly from Heathrow to Luxor. On arrival transfer to the Mövenpick MS Hamees. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2 Luxor to Esna
Morning visit to the East Bank with sights including the the temples of Karnak and Luxor, and the West Bank with the Valley of Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon, sail to Esna and stay overnight.

Day 3 Esna to Aswan
Sail to Edfu and on to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple in Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god, Sobek, and the falcon god, Horus. Sail onwards to Aswan for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Aswan
Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and unfinished obelisk. In the afternoon enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5 Aswan to UK
Disembark the ship and transfer to your chosen Aswan hotel or to Aswan airport for your onward flight to elsewhere in Egypt or for your return flight to the UK (via Cairo).
