SAMPLE ITINERARY
Day 1 - UK to Cairo
Depart from the UK for your flight to Cairo. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Mercure Le Sphinx for next 3 nights on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Other hotels are also available.
Days 2-3 Cairo
Enjoy a further two nights in Cairo, with various excursions pre-bookable. Head to Khan El Khalili for great shopping and local food, or to the Citadel to see Cairo's less visited side.
Day 4 Luxor
Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, embark on your Spring Tours Nile Cruise boat at noon where lunch will be served. In the early afternoon, visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple before returning for dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 5 Edfu
Wake up to breakfast on board, before heading to the West Bank by coach for sights to include the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, depart for Edfu for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 6 Kom Ombo
This morning, savour a delightful breakfast on board as you sail to the rural town of Kom Ombo for dinner on board and an overnight stay.
Day 7 Aswan
Enjoy breakfast on board before heading to the serene city of Aswan, home to the Nubian people. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk (also known as the Granite Quarries) the Philae Temple and the Nubian Museum. Return to the boat for lunch on board with the afternoon free atyour leisure. Dine on board ahead of your overnight stay.
Day 8 Aswan
After breakfast, you will have the morning at your leisure, with an optional tour of Abu Simbel (extra cost). Enjoy lunch on board the vessel, before you head to the beautiful botanical gardens of Felucca. Dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 9 Edfu
Today you will have the chance to re-discover Kom Ombo, to visit the temples of Sobek and Horus the Elder. After lunch, sail back to Edfu where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10 Luxor
Your final day on board will be spent mostly cruising. After lunch, you will arrive in the vibrant city of Luxor, where you will have the evening at leisure, before a final dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11 Luxor to Hurghada
Transfer by road (approx 4-5 hours) from Luxor to Hurghada and check in to your hotel for a four night stay. Prices are based on the Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort, staying on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
Days 12-14 Hurghada
Spend a further three nights in Hurghada, relaxing on the beach, exploring the underwater world or visiting the Old Town. Other durations are also available.
Day 15 Hurghada to UK
Return to Luxor airport for your return flight to the UK.
The ultimate tour of Egypt allowing plenty of time to appreciate all the main sights, plus time to relax at the coast afterwards. Combine a week's Nile cruise with a few nights in Cairo and a stay on the Red Sea coast.
