Since opening in 1987, The Tongsai Bay has established itself as the leading family owned hotel on the tropical island of Koh Samui, Thailand. Hidden amongst 28 and a half acres of breathtaking natural beauty and wrapped around a private bay, the hotel is renowned for its privacy, its love for the environment and the friendliness of its staff.

Set within lush tropical gardens on a hillside overlooking a secluded bay, accommodation at The Tongsai Bay consists of 83 suites, cottages and villas. All rooms offer mesmerising ocean views and boast spacious terraces, enabling guests to enjoy and connect with their tropical surroundings.

Facilities at The Tongsai Bay Koh Samui

Tongsai offers complimentary non motorized water sports - kayaks, windsurfs, hobbie cats, stand up paddle boards and snorkelling equipment. Please note to keep the peace and ensure a great bay for swimming the hotel does not offer motorized water sports.

The main free form 50 metre fresh water pool and separate children’s paddling pool area both offer sun-loungers with parasols and side-tables. Located at the back of the main pool area, The Exercise Room offers treadmills, bikes, steppers, rowing machine, weights and multi-purpose exercising units.

Spa treatments are now firmly established as a major component of a holiday, especially here in Thailand. Prana Spa is set amidst the hotel’s natural green surroundings, providing a haven of relaxation and beauty with a selection of therapeutic, healing and restorative treatments.

There are a variety of dining options. Dining seaside at Po-lad Beach Bistro for Lunch or Dinner is a casual affair with a large array of cuisine options.

Chef Chom’s was named after Chef Piengchom Dhadahbanand who was previously a Chef in the Thai Royal household and has trained over 500 chefs and cooks her illustrious career. The focus of Chef Chom’s is to provide traditional Thai cuisine that is authentic to the region in which it originated.

The Butler’s is a Tapas and Wine Bar. The menu offers both Mediterranean and Asian influenced tapas while the bar team offer a selection of wines by the glass and bottle and of course jugs of Sangria!
