Established in 1948, Lone Pine Hotel was the first hotel on Batu Ferringhi Beach, a haven for expatriates and their families fleeing the severe winters of home. Today, completely refurbished, Lone Pine still retains much of its old world charm with its privacy and idyllic setting of landscaped gardens.
