SUGGESTED ITINERARY - HABARANA & KANDY
3 nights Habarana, 3 nights Kandy, 1 night Negombo

Combine Sri Lanka’s ancient capitals and cultural triangle. You'll have a private car and driver from day 2 to day 8, and you can take in any sights that you wish - all you need to do is pay entrance fees locally.

DAY 1 DEPART UK
Fly SriLankan Airlines from Heathrow overnight to Colombo.

DAY 2 COLOMBO TO HABARANA
On arrival, you'll be collected by your driver, who'll be with you for the next 7 days. Drive approximately four hours to Habarana and the Habarana Village for three nights to explore the ancient cities. Stay here on a Half Board basis, with other hotels also available. Possible sightseeing during your stay at Habarana includes the Dambulla Cave Temples, Sigiriya Rock Fortress and the ancient capital of Polonnaruwa (pay entrance fees locally).

DAY 5 HABARANA TO KANDY
Drive three hours to Kandy and the Citadel Hotel for three nights, staying on a Half Board basis. A choice of alternative hotels in Kandy is also available. You can take in the Temple of the Tooth and the Peradeniya Botanic Gardens while in Kandy (pay entrance fees locally).

DAY 8 KANDY TO NEGOMBO
Drive to the Jetwing Sea and relax on windswept beaches for a night or more, staying on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Other hotel options and durations are available here. Perhaps travel via the wonderful Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage on the way (pay entrance fees locally). Your driver will say goodbye on arrival at the hotel.

DAY 9 NEGOMBO TO UK
Transfer to the airport and fly SriLankan Airlines to Heathrow.
