Sunwing Waterworld Makadi
A brand new hotel with the emphasis on ensuring a fun-filled family holiday, the Sunwing Waterworld Makadi is reminiscent of an aqua park, with a huge waterslide gantry, wave pool and waterfall features.
Location of the Sunwing Waterworld Makadi
Beautiful beachside location on the northern side of Makadi Bay, 25 km from the airport and 35 km from the town of Hurghada. The hotel is part of a holiday "village" including other hotels, linked by promenade, the Makadi Mall and Makadi Sports Centre. Transfer time: 45 minutes.
Rooms at the Sunwing Waterworld Makadi
All 600 rooms have king size bed, bath, separate shower, WC, air conditioning, satellite TV, safety deposit box and hairdryer. There is a telephone and mini- bar, both at extra charge.
Junior Suites are spacious, include a lounge area and have a balcony or terrace with pool, sea or garden view. Sleep 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. Family Suites in the Family Star annexe include a master bedroom plus living room with double sofa bed and two single beds in a partially screened sleeping area. Sleeps 3 adults and 3 children or or 2 adults and 4 children.
Facilities at the Sunwing Waterworld Makadi
4 restaurants, providing a range of à la carte, set and buffet menus offering Middle Eastern, Italian and Chinese cuisine as well as an upmarket grill. 5 bars offering snacks and food. Live daytime and evening entertainment.
There are several large, interconnected, pools with sun loungers, towels, parasols, water slides and water features in the water park. Separate childrens pool, supervised. Beach Volleyball, Water aerobics, Billiards* Table tennis, Tennis* Snorkelling and Kite surfing.
Family facilities include a separate children’s pool – supervised. 5 waterslides including a family slide, and wild water and tunnel slides for the more adventurous. Wave pool and Waterfall. Maxi Kinder Club and playground for 4 to 12 year olds, Mini disco and kids movies. Children’s menus offered at all restaurants. Crèche Cots and high chairs and baby Service.
