Sharm Resort
The Sharm Resort is ideal for those who love to be in and around the water. This Moorish style hotel shares landscaped grounds and facilities with the Sharm Plaza, giving a wide choice of restaurants and bars.
Location of the Sharm Resort
Located just 10 km from the airport and 7 km from the resort centre of Naama Bay. A series of man-made sandy terraces with steps to shore level provide access to jetties across the coral foreshore. Jump off the jetties and you are directly at the Far Garden coral reef – making this an ideal location for snorkelling.
Rooms at the Sharm Resort
All 284 rooms have king size or twin beds, bath or shower, WC, air conditioning, satellite TV, safety deposit box and hairdryer. There is a telephone and mini- bar, both at extra charge.
Standard Rooms have a balcony or terrace and sleep 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. Rooms without a balcony, sleeping 2 adults, are available for a small reduction. Superior Rooms are larger, have an open-plan lounge area, and a balcony or terrace. They sleep 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults.
Facilities at the Sharm Resort
Buffet restaurant, plus, at the Sharm Plaza, 2 buffet restaurants and 5 á la carte restaurants serving International, Italian, Chinese and Lebanese, seafood and grilled cuisine, 3 hotel bars – 2 serving snacks – and 3 beach bars, Now Here” nightclub open 10pm-2am and an Italian coffee shop*.
There are 2 outdoor swimming pools with sun loungers, towels and parasol, separate children’s pool. Beach volleyball, water aerobics, tennis, squash*, table tennis, billiards, dance lessons. Plus use of all sport and leisure facilities at the Sharm Plaza, including: 5 outdoor swimming pools, Aqua Centre* with diving and water sports, fitness Centre, Spa*, Internet café* and a small shopping arcade.
Family facilities include a children’s swimming pool with waterslide, Maxi Kinder Club for 4-12 years (at Sharm Plaza). Mini disco. Children’s menu Cots and high chairs.
