What to do in Hoi An
Historic Hoi An is packed with interest, and no trip to Vietnam would be complete without visiting. The town is a living museum, so allow plenty of time to wander the pretty streets of the UNESCO-listed Old Town. Many of the wooden buildings date back to the early 19th Century - a walking tour of the Old Town will show you the highlights. Hoi An is also packed with superb restaurants and is known for its local ‘fresh’ beer, plus is a centre of tailoring - a great place to have a suit made to measure!

Historic Hoi An has a great range of hotel options - choose between a central location in the town that’s ideal for sightseeing, or a beach location around 15 minutes from the Old Town, that’s perfect for a longer stay with a more relaxed feel.

Transfer time average 30-45 minutes
Danang airport is served by flights from Saigon, Hanoi and elsewhere in Vietnam. Saigon and Hanoi are the main gateways to Vietnam, and have direct flights from Heathrow with Vietnam Airlines plus indirect options from Heathrow and other UK airports. Danang also has connections to Singapore and elsewhere.
