WELCOME |
Vibrant
Kuala Lumpur is a cosmopolitan mix of cultures and people,
and is vying for the role of South East Asia's most progressive
city. Modern symbols of the city's growth, including the stunning
Petronas Towers, sit side by side with older buildings dating
from KL's relatively short history, including the original
Mosque built at the site of the two rivers that gave the city
its name. |

WHAT
TO DO |
There's plenty to see and do in Kuala Lumpur. The Bukit Bintang area is home to a superb range of shopping and dining options, while nearby, the KLCC development which includes the stunning Petronas Towers is the new heart of the City. Elsewhere, the colonial
area of KL is a fascinating mix of architecture and history,
and is home to KL's exciting Chinatown. |
WHERE
TO STAY |
The
'Golden Triangle' area of the city is home to some of the
best hotels, and transport in this area is made easier with
the opening of the monorail network. There's an excellent range of hotels available at superb prices. If shopping is a priority, base yourself in the Bukit Bintang area. |
