-	Letters of personal details / proof of residence

-	3 working days in resort required before wedding
-	7 day minimum stay required in resort
-	Minimum age 18

Additonal documents are required if either party have been previously married, adopted or changed name. Weddings conducted at safari locations will require additional time in Nairobi for certain elements of the paperwork to be completed. Legal requirements are subject to change and precise details will be provided at the time of booking.

Explore Stone Town, the capital, with its fascinating maze of narrow winding and cobbled streets, elaborate carvings on artistic teak doors and a small harbour area. For couples seeking tranquillity and privacy the deserted talcum white sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters and quiet ambience of the island make this the perfect unspoilt getaway.

In the unlikely event the Regional Commissioner is unable to come to the hotel to perform the ceremony, wedding couples will go to Stone Town and be married in the Regional Commissioners Office, after which the couple will return to the hotel and enjoy a symbolic ceremony on the beach. Legal requirements are subject to change and precise details will be provided at the time of booking.
